The last week
It is our last week in London. Time flies when you’re having fun!
Last weekend Riëtte and I went to Buckingham Palace. We were there to see the changing of the guards. It was a very cold day and we were waiting outside for half an hour. Then we realized that nothing happened. There was no changing of the guards. We walked back through the city of London. We went to the Royal Albert Hall. When we get there we thought we can make a tour around it. But we can’t because there was an opera show during the day.
We decided to go to the St. Paul’s Cathedral. The Cathedral was closed for visitors, but you can get in the Cathedral for the Evensong. We stayed there for like 2 or 3 hours, and visit the Evensong. It was a miracle. That voices, that Cathedral. Just magic. It was a very impressive day.
Today I saw my cousin who stays in London for 6 months. We meet each other at the Waterloo station. She went by train, I with the underground. We walked through the city. We saw the Big Ben, London Eye and the city. We ate something at Convent Garden. We haven’t seen each other for a long time, so we were talking and talking the whole time. It was a very lovely day.
